For a very long time...
If you're gonna ask me how's my movie addiction's going, well it's been slightly deteriorating for the reasons that I have mentioned above. However, as usual, I never stopped downloading movies, instead I always find a good one to download. My hard drive's been too crowded with movies and yet I still keep on downloading 'em! hehehe..
It's just sad that I couldn't find time to watch them too! Whew! I wanna get back to the normal flow of my life and get a rest from school!
Actually we don't have classes starting tomorrow up until monday which is definitely a good and desirable news. But hey, our projects is buzzing us and the time alloted is very alarming that the dues are coming in too fast and we are in a slow progress.
But five days is enough for me to find time to watch a movie or two... I can manage! hehehe...
I won't make this post longer for I gotta go and continue doing my tasks! ciao! xoxo

Movie addiction can be a stress buster!
These past ways were very tough for me and my classmates and schoolmates because of our damn exams! We have to study piles of books(char! not really...), we had sleepless nights and the most of all is the nosebleed and hemorrhage that almost killed us. The exams were very difficult especially on our subject operating systems. God I hope I passed it! Prior to these madness, our teachers also gave us tons of works to do, from compilation of literary articles to different assignments... I shall say life as a student is full of miseries and hardships...hahaha... does anybody disagree???
But, short after the exams, movie freaks like me unleashed the stress by soaking ourselves to watching movies and tv series. For me, I kind of felt relieved because I'm entertained and it like the severe bleeding and all the pains were suddenly gone...
If you want to know what movies I have in my hard drive, click here. You may also visit my naruto blog here.

I thought I just lost my monitor, AGAIN!
When I turned on my PC just a few minutes ago, I was shocked when the monitor didn't turn on! Hell I was so worried because I've already experienced it last year(midterm exams time...), I lost it after an overnight use while reading naruto manga...hehehhe! I was almost gonna conclude and was almost convinced that it has malfunctioned for the second time... I checked all the connection, tried the connectors but it still didn't turn on... Later I discovered that I was not able to check the wire at the back of it, and there I found the culprit, the wire got loose without me knowing and unaware... I didn't see that coming! I was gonna text my mom and tell her about the problem for repair but thank god it was just a false alarm and everything is fine, but not really... My damn stupid inno3D video card is already dying and I'm on the midst of my agonies on it... It's a very long and messy story so I might make a post about it not now maybe soon...
Oh dear god, please heal my PC...hehehhe...

Movie Addiction!
Well well well. It's been a while since I started downloading movies in the internet and I already got numerous numbers of them. I love watching thriller, suspense, horror movies and they are my priorities in my downloads, next on the list is comedy and follows action romance and etc... I've been addicted watching them and I think I'm gonna go berserk and freak out when I download a bad quality, a password protected and the most of all FAKE FAKE FAKE! I am a victim of those idiots trying to fool leechers(haha...) when I was a newbie. But now I read comments and try to get a genuine releases from trusted sources and uploaders. I'm using bittorent and obviously I seek and dowload torrents. I don't like streaming movies because of too many reasons, to many that I can't even name them all... First is that it will compromise your connection speed, you can't watch it again when you turn off your PC, it buffers for ages and a lot more! I guess I'm gonna end this post and watch hell of movies and some TV series!

Journalist Kidnapping in the philippines
Just a few days past when a news exploded that Ces Drillon, a reporter of ABS CBN was kidnapped by armed groups in Sulu. This happening is a very alarming event and another case of media harassment and crime. Who would expect that this could happen? I don't exactly know the full details about this but I was startled when I heard this. I have also read a news saying that the ransom has increased. What is happening? Crime has been widely propagating in different areas of the country and comes in different forms but doesn't choose a target, even the one who tells us to beware and gives us the up to date news. I hope this would be resolved at the soonest possible.

Sex and the City (2008)
After moving in together in an impossibly beautiful New York apartment, Carrie Bradshaw and Mr. Big make a rather arbitrary decision to get married. The wedding itself proves to be anything but a hasty affair--the guest list quickly blooms from 75 to 200 guests, and Carrie's simple, label-less wedding gown gives way to an enormous creation that makes her look like a gigantic cream puff. An upcoming photo spread in Vogue puts the event--which will take place at the New York Public Library--squarely in the public eye. Meanwhile, Carrie's girlfriends--Samantha, the sexpot; Charlotte, the sweet naïf; and Miranda, the rigid perfectionist--could not be happier. At least, they couldn't be happier for Carrie. Charlotte still has the unrealized hope of getting pregnant. Samantha is finding a loving, committed relationship more grueling than she could have imagined. Miranda unwittingly lets her own unhappiness--created when Steve admits to cheating on her just once--spoil Carrie's. After a heated encounter with Steve, she happens to spot Mr. Big and tells him he's crazy to get married. She's really only thinking of her own marriage. But her angry remark gets Mr. Big to thinking.

Too Much Cell Phone Time Takes Toll on Teen Sleep
MONDAY, June 9 (HealthDay News) -- Teens who become addicted to their cell phones may be placing their health at risk by compromising their ability to sleep well, a new Swedish study suggests.
The finding was presented Monday at the Associated Professional Sleep Societies annual meeting, in Baltimore.
"The message is that adolescents who use their cell phones excessively are much more stressed, much more restless, much more fatigued, and have a greater tendency to develop sleep deprivation as a result of their calling habits," said study author Dr. Gaby Bader, an associate professor in the department of clinical neuroscience at Sahlgren's Academy in Goteburg.
Bader said he was "quite surprised" by the strength of the correlation between teen cell phone use and sleep problems. And, he pointed out, the current study is only one part of a broader ongoing effort to assess the impact of numerous forms of technology on adolescent sleep, including computers and handheld e-mail devices.
With respect to cell phones, he and his team focused on the experiences of 21 healthy Swedish boys and girls between the ages of 14 and 20. The teens kept what the authors described as "regular working/studying hours" and were not previously diagnosed with any particular sleep irregularity.
Based on self-reports, participants were divided into two groups: those sending or receiving five calls and/or short text messages (excluding e-mails) a day, and those using their cell phones 15 times or more on a daily basis.
Bader pointed out that while the average number of calls/texts per day hovered between 35 and 40, some of the above-15 call users used their cells with a frequency far more excessively -- approaching, at times, more than 200 calls and/or texts a day. Among all participants, only one reported turning off their cell phone at night, he noted.
All participants were asked to complete lifestyle questionnaires, describing sleep quality as well as self-perceptions regarding depression, anger, and self-esteem. In addition, each kept a sleep diary for one week.
The authors also conducted overnight at-home sleep inspections, as well as two-day cardiac activity assessments.
The researchers observed that the above-15 call group kept more irregular sleeping hours than the lower-use group, had more difficulty falling asleep, more difficulty waking up, and experienced more sleep disruptions.
Heavy cell phone users also consumed more beverages containing stimulants than the minimal phone-user group. This perhaps contributed to the finding that heavy callers also displayed more restlessness, stress, and fatigue than minimal users.
Bader said that among young people, a relatively recent technological innovation like the cell phone has quickly become nearly ubiquitous, giving rise to considerable pressure to keep in touch 24/7. And he suggested that this pressure can develop into an addiction, with serious negative ramifications for adolescent health.
"We see more and more people -- especially the young generation -- who grew up with these kinds of items and gadgets in their hands," Bader said. "And they become dependent on the technology. So, we have to teach young people to be structured. To know when to have the cell phone on, and when to switch it off. To avoid becoming the slave of technology, instead of the master."
Dr. Mary Carskadon, director of sleep and chronobiology research at E.P. Bradley Hospital in Providence, R.I., expressed little surprise with the finding.
"Interpersonal contact is one of the things that's best at keeping us awake," she observed. "And so, a young person receiving cell phone texts or phone calls, when their brain is saying, 'Let me sleep,' is going to have more sleep disturbances. And they are going to be tired and restless, and probably, as a result, going to use more stimulants. And judgment is not always the best in our teenage years. So, that's where I think parental attention to this issue may be useful."

Tought for the day
By Catherine Pulsifer
It really doesn't matter who you are, old, young, or whatever occupation. The most common thing we have in common is our desire to be more, or to live the life that may have once been only a dream. For some of us though, dreams are the closest we ever get to have a different life, or to be engaged in a lifestyle that better fits our daily fantasy. So, what makes the difference? Is it luck? Is it having a mentor to guide us down the right road? Is it simply being in the right place at the right time?
For me, I thought I'd never leave my corporate position. I had a career that a lot of people would envy including a good salary, and great benefits. But, as the years rolled by, I experienced more and more dissatisfaction with the on-going politics and the never-ending demands of working to propel someone else's business forward. I came to the realization that I wanted to spend my energy working on my own business or businesses that gave me not only personal satisfaction, but gave me control and to benefit from the fruits of my own labour. Some of you reading this thought as long time visitors know part of my story. For others, let me just say that I made the move away from the corporate world and, although it wasn't always easy, it was accomplished using my 3 favourite P's - patience, persistence and perseverance. Nothing in life is achieved without hard work, and the ability to overcome challenges. It wasn't any different for me.
One of my goals was to develop a small business that could help support our lifestyle, a lifestyle of basics not of excess, a lifestyle that would allow us to do what we wanted, what we loved, and what would allow us to be creative. And, it wasn't that we didn't attempt a few things that didn't work out. With perseverance as our ally, we were able to find, grow, and benefit from an art form that was both fun and creative. That art form was the creation of fused glass jewellery products and fused glass motivational products. And, at this point, we are able to say that people throughout many parts of the world have enjoyed our fused glass one-of-a-kind products. The point is this; don't let obstacles stand in your way; learn to view failures as an opportunity to find out what works and what doesn't work; develop the inner attitude of patience, persistence, and perseverance; and, defeat your own procrastination through action not dreaming.
Part of our success is the joy of having our son be involved in our business, and his enthusiasm in helping us succeed by creating an on-line store that will allow many more people to enjoy one or more of our creations, creations that were once only a dream. Dreams can come true. If you wish to review some of these creations, or if you are interested in purchasing your own unique piece of one-of-a-kind fused glass jewellery, you can do so by going to Unique Handcrafted Jewelry
And, remember this: a dream is only a goal unplanned and not yet put into action.

I just joined Technorati!!!
Philippines to get own Playboy, but no nudes
The Philippine edition will be launched on April 2 as a "mature lifestyle magazine", said veteran journalist Beting Laygo Dolor.
While the magazine will offer pictorials of beautiful women, it will not include nudity. "It will be tamer than the US edition but not as tame as the Indonesian edition," Lagyo Dolor said in a television interview.
He said it would be aimed at a more mature, affluent readership than "lad magazines" such as FHM and Maxim which already have Philippine editions.
It will be the 25th international edition of the US-based magazine which was launched more than 50 years ago.
The local edition will have serious articles and fiction by some of the country's best-known writers but will also include such staples as a "playmate of the month", Lagyo Dolor said.
Movies and publications showing nudity have run into strong opposition in the conservative, largely Roman Catholic Philippines with watchdog groups sometimes filing criminal charges against those who distribute such materials.
